Summary

The article outlines three distinct types of friends one may encounter in life: The User, The Timewaster, and The True Friend, each characterized by their impact on an individual's well-being and personal growth.

Abstract

The article "The 3 Types of Friends in Life" delves into the characteristics of different friend archetypes and their influence on personal development. It describes "The User" as a friend who only maintains the relationship for personal gain, often displaying envy and negativity towards the individual's aspirations. "The Timewaster" is portrayed as a well-intentioned but unproductive friend who engages in activities that do not contribute to personal or mutual advancement. In contrast, "The True Friend" is depicted as a positive and supportive individual who encourages growth, success, and spiritual consciousness, and is considered invaluable to one's life journey.

Opinions

  • "The User" is seen as a deceptive and harmful friend, akin to a "Wolf in Sheep's clothing," who should be distanced from for one's own well-being.
  • It is considered unwise to try to change "The User," as their negative traits are inherent and unlikely to improve despite one's best efforts.
  • "The Timewaster" is viewed as a potentially detrimental influence due to their lack of ambition and tendency to engage in unproductive activities, which can hinder one's progress.
  • The article emphasizes the importance of recognizing and distancing oneself from friends who do not contribute positively to one's life, suggesting that maintaining relationships with such individuals can be regressive.
  • "The True Friend" is highly valued as a source of constructive criticism, motivation, and spiritual guidance, and is seen as a divine blessing in one's life.

The 3 Types of Friends in Life

Which types are in your life?

1) THE USER

This type of friend is NOT your friend. Think of a Wolf in Sheep's clothing.

They are only your friend because of what you can do for them. This type of friend may harbour a lot of envy and hate against you.

They are quick to destroy your dreams and make fun. They are quick to backbite and ridicule; mostly pretending to be there for you.

Stepping away from this type of friend is not mean, it is wise.

And we sometimes think we can change them because of our soft hearts, but we cannot.

The first sign of this trait.

Walk away...

2) THE TIMEWASTER

This type of friend may be a good person. But all they do is waste your time.

All they want to do is smoke, drink, and gossip about pointless things.

They have no hopes and dreams.

This friend is dangerous because time is valuable.

If they are not moving forward they will drag you behind!!!

3) THE TRUE FRIEND

This friend just loves you for being you. They are not afraid to tell you off.

They care about your future and are always talking about moving forward. About success and building a good future.

They are always making moves and pushing you forward. They talk about meaningful things and are conscious of God.

Keep this friend close. They are a gift from the Creator.

God bless!
