Succeeding on Medium is not hard. It’s not rocket science. Everybody can make a couple of hundred bucks on Medium. You just have to be patient.

I had to wait for 8 months to see the cash flow. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the journey.

During the last 5 months, I observed a couple of things that made me earn some money.

If you follow these 3 things, you will see improvement in your stats:

Write 3–5 times a week

If you want to succeed on medium, write, write, and write. Write as much as I can. Don’t make any excuses. You have to put in the work.

I started my blogging journey by publishing an article a week. Two months later, I figured that it would take me years to see meaningful results.

When I started publishing 15–20 articles a month, I started to see results. In the beginning, I struggled to get even 10 views on my articles. Now I am getting 200 views daily.

I give all the credit to my daily writing routine. I try to publish one article a day.

That’s the biggest secret to success on medium:

“Write, write, and write.”

Get into publications

You can self-publish your articles and there is no problem with that but you have to work really hard to build your audience.

Publications already have a large following. So if you publish articles in publications, chances are you will get more views. And more views means getting more followers.

I like illumination. You don’t have many criteria to publish articles in illumination. It’s a good publication to start your blogging journey.

Respond to comments

Take out some time during the day to read all the comments and respond to each one of them.

You should be thankful to people who read and comment on your article. Be grateful for them. Say thank you to them.

If you do that, the same people are likely to come back to you. They will probably read your new stories.

Follow these 3 basic things. You won’t see immediate results but do it for 2–3 months and you will succeed.

I have tested these formulas and they have worked for me.

Thanks for reading.
