Become a professional writer by implementing these strategies

A few years ago, I genuinely believed that an expensive laptop and a fancy workspace were necessary to become a full-time writer.

I also thought I needed to spend thousands of dollars buying my own books to become a bestselling author like my father. After all, that was the impression I got from bloggers who made me purchase their $5,000 course to learn basic information readily available on the internet. However, I’ve since learned that I was totally wrong.

Several strategies helped me to earn six figures from writing articles online over the past few years. And because I want to help as many people as possible become professional writers (like me), I’m going to share them below.

Surpass People’s Expectations With This Simple Trick

Make the expectations of your audience as low as possible. So, when someone eventually reads one of your articles, their expectations will be surpassed every single time.

Here are a couple of things you can do today:

  • Give your article a terrible title, so people are impressed by your amazing quality of writing.
  • Make sure each article has a dull thumbnail, so people are amazed when they accidentally click on it.

Since implementing this strategy, I’ve received numerous comments from readers expressing their delight at the mediocre quality of my articles. And once you adopt this strategy, it’ll only be a matter of time until you become extraordinarily successful (like me).

Write About Conspiracy Theories To Get More Clicks

“THE TECH BILLIONAIRES IN SILICON VALLEY ARE CONSPIRING AGAINST US.” In case you didn’t know, the frequent use of capital letters in all of my headlines encourages readers to click and read my content.

Content creators love conspiracy theories because they don’t want to blame themselves for their failure to go viral on the internet. So, whenever writers notice a decline in traffic, they frequently come up with an endless list of reasons why it isn’t their fault.

The reason for a writer’s lack of success is usually one of two things. Either the quality of their writing sucks, or the topic is written about way too often for people to care and read the entire article. But hey, don’t tell anyone that because it would put pressure on writers to improve the quality of their work.

If you want to be a professional writer, consider implementing the above strategies. Of course, becoming a full-time writer may appear to be a pipe dream that will never come true. But if a mediocre writer like myself can do it, there’s no reason you can’t, either.
