The 3 Main Excuses Drug Dealers Use

Dale Carnegie Was Right

I guess you can call me that friend that’s always nagging you to do right, and in many ways, I don’t think it’s bad at all, especially if my friend’s a drug dealer.

The thing is, whenever I ask him to stop, he gives me the same 3 answers like a broken record, every single time.

His friends also give the same answers; and so does everyone else I’ve tried to advise over the years.

After reading Dale Carnegie’s “How to make friends and influence people", I came to a better understanding of why I kept getting these answers.

Dale Carnegie states in this wonderful book that: Human beings will never portray themselves as the bad guy; even Hitler thought he was doing the right thing.

So the fact that I received these silly answers from several “street pharmacists" no longer came as a surprise to me because they actually believed they were doing the right thing.

At this stage I guess the humbling laws of life can only teach them that it is indeed wrong.

‘I’ll only do it for a little while then I’ll stop’

This is an answer you’ll most likely get. I’ll do it until I make some money, and then I’ll stop as soon as I’ve made enough.

Sorry mate, but this is destined to fail because it goes against the laws of reaping what you sow. Against Karma.

When nothing is put in, nothing will come out, although there might be some type of short term satisfaction from it.

Ephemeral pleasure is all it is because — easy come, easy go.

‘If I don’t do it someone else will’

This has to be the most retarded answer I have ever received from anyone — ever. The mindset here is that, if they don’t sell drugs then someone else will just do it, so they might as well gain from it instead.

I keep on telling my friends that If they don’t do it and you do, this means you’ll take on the evil that comes from it.

But nope. Falls on deaf ears every single time. There is a deep, deep conviction that what they are doing is the right thing. Perhaps it’s rap music, entertainers, video games? But when we look deeper, Dale Carnegie seems to provide a much conclusive answer, and the awesome thing is that it runs parallel to holy scripture. I will explain after the last answer below.

‘There’s no other way’

‘There is. It’s just that you are too frigin’ lazy to read a book, gain some knowledge and build something meaningful you idiot.’

This is what I say after wasting hours upon hours in explaining hundreds of ways to make money the “right” way. There seems to be some kind of cricket batsman in his ear, just booting my words for sixers as soon as they get anywhere close to the brain.

The truth is: There are so many ways to make money the right way that one would be absolutely crazy to do it the wrong way. This is what I tell him! He doesn’t listen!

But this is what I now understand:

‘The Devil threatens you with the fear of poverty which leads you to immorality, but God promises forgiveness and a vast bounty’ (Qur’an 2.268)

From this verse I can plainly see how many are led to justify their immorality whilst hiding their true feelings in the fear of poverty. In other words: It is better to express a justification than to admit they are scared of poverty.

Another verse from the Qur’an comes to mind which sums this article up. Coinciding with the works of Dale Carnegie above, the Qur’an mentions that when bad people are asked why they spread mischief, their replies are, ‘we only seek to spread peace.’ (2:11)

The wiring inside their minds compel them to believe that their corruption is justified. There are many psychological reasons for this; most of which may be rooted in fear, and some due to plain cold-heartedness. The fact is that a Human Being will always find a justification for any kind of wrong doing.

Many serial killers, murderers, robbers, and the rest, all believe that they are acting in some kind of “good” way. We have heard the excuses before, such as, the “Robin-Hood, steal from the rich and give to the poor” mentality; or the blame on society as being evil instead of the serial killer blaming themselves.

I guess what I’m really trying to say is. well we live in a nut-house.
