That’s What Happens When a Thousand People Read your Story on Medium
What you learn from a thousand readings on Medium

Today I am completing 9 months as a Medium member, and due to the testimonies and experiences I heard about several writers who have been writing on Medium for a year or more, I have no reason to complain so far as I have already arrived.
It has been commendable to be a Medium member and to interact with the great Medium writers. This is exactly the platform where I would like to write for the rest of my life, and make stories for many readers who love quality content.
What happens when a thousand people read my story?

I always wanted to know what happens when you reach 1,000 views on Medium. But after I learned that the earnings were calculated by reading time, I became interested in what would happen if a thousand people read my story.
That’s what happens when a thousand people read a story on Medium.

As you can see in the images above, when a thousand people read your story here on Medium, you can have a greater engagement not only with your story, or with the earnings, or else by reading time. What I could see is that through the number of viewers, you start to be noticed as a writer and start to gain more friends who will help you during the walk, real people with real ideas.
I come from Youtube, I have more than 100 thousand followers on YouTube alone, here on Medium I have only about 350 followers, but I feel more welcomed here than on YouTube. Not wanting to disrupt the platform, outside of that. Youtube is an incredible platform, it helped me to be promoted as one of the best Freelancers in my country, and through it, I learned a lot. However, being sincere, Medium brought into my life a new method of facing how we can survive as creators of serious and true content.
When a Medium story reaches a thousand readers, the Medium partner program proves that it is the best partner program among the platforms that provide a partner program for content creators.
Because if it is to compare with the partner programs I know.
Youtube for example pays $1 to $5 per thousand views depending on where the views come from, if they come from Canada, the USA, UK, or Sweden, the cost per thousand is $10.
Facebook pays content creators based on views but based on how long the viewer will watch the video at commercial intervals. On Facebook, the advertisement is usually displayed on the video after the viewer watches the video after a minute of time. Facebook pays $0.01 per interval for each video ad, depending on where those views come from or the advertiser’s offer, also varying by $10. However, Facebook’s partner program is still more effective than YouTube’s.
Vocal Media pays its writers by category, free members earn $3.80 per thousand readings and paid members to earn $6.00 per thousand readings.
The Medium partner program simply breaks everything and leaves the other programs breathless among content creators.
Basically, with a thousand readings in a single story on Medium, you can not only have an income that you would never have in any other partner program, among the platforms scattered on the web.
