THAT SMELL

This all started when I was driving past the old, shutdown prison and the water treatment plant. I forgot about how bad the water treatment plant smelled because I haven’t been in that area in a while. After noticing the plant with my eyes and nose, I thought back to an episode of Ghost Adventures I watched a few months ago about the prison right next to the plant and how they weren’t allowed to go into the execution room because it was still in use.

For whatever reason, my brain went over to what the prisoners smelled while in the room, and for a brief second, I felt bad because the terrible smell was the last thing the prisoners smelled before they died. Just imagine it. Instead of smelling something good before you die, you would smell something terrible. That would suck, right?

Now, I also noticed that there were multiple lines of solar panels on the east side of the water treatment plant. After seeing that, I remembered something someone told me, “The government spent around 30 million dollars on the water treatment plant! Isn’t that dumb?” I was kind of confused because last time I checked, heat enables more smell, and for something that stinky, you’re not going to want more of that smell.

I thought to myself, “Wow. I’m actually losing brain cells just by trying to figure out why they put basically multiple giant magnifying glasses right next to the worst-smelling place on this side of the world.”
