That Night, I Saw Your Eyes
Yellow Butterfly Poetry
I saw your eyes The fire Your plight
The feelings inside of you Was palpable I could see them Even in the night
In silence, we sat And I realized The struggle is still there The anger The fight
Everything was for you But you were so blind Stuck in a haze Suffocating in her maze You forgot to make that a phase
Four strikes I keep counting the days Trying to relax Trying to smile But you always f*ck that sh*t up With your selfish and arrogant ways
So I’m back to the beginning Back to the painful, wretched days
