It seems so unusual to me this feeling inside pulsating and kinetic telling me to open up and let it in

Resistance is futile because the feeling is too powerful for this dilapidated forcefield that I built around my heart to keep it in

The simple act of walking is different with you because there is a cadence to us and a rhythm to every word that we say to each other

Minutes become hours and watches become obsolete as time fades away into the afterthought of hope

That’s what this is a rogue feeling of empowerment because a gray future has just turned bright lighting a path

There are no guarantees on this path because it is winding and irreverent and even if I end up traveling alone I will be better for that feeling That feeling is hope
