Me? I don’t like confrontation. I don’t like making people feel attacked.

But why do they want to attack me? I’m just over here living my life…

The other day on my Medium stream was an article in which someone expressed annoyance at people closing their articles with: "Thanks for Reading.”

I did not click on the article because, chile’, I did not need any more stress that day.

And it’s possible the entire thing was written in sarcasm or it wasn’t how it sounded.

But I just noticed that since I saw that title, I’ve been MORE apt to put “Thanks for reading” at the end of every article.

Because I’m one of those people.

It’s genetic. My parents are the same way.
