Thanking and Praising Equal Contentment

A poem about how to make time to worship every morning when you awake

Thank God Anyhow

When the roof of your home seems like its caving in on you

and the walls appear to be closing in while the floor

seems to be quite rocky, Thank God Anyhow.

Take a quiet moment,

remember yesterday when times were better.

When your home was your castle, every room was filled with joy,

a delight to behold. The sum beamed through the windows

spreading God’s wonderment throughout.

God brought you through those times,

so hold still while God does his work today.

Thank God for what he has done,

thank God for what he is doing right now,

thank God for what he is going to do.

After reflecting and thanking God for his grace,

step out on faith and believe this moment is

because God deemed it to be for your betterment.

Thank God Anyhow.

He puts no more on you than you can naturally

and spiritually handle.

Humble yourself and cast all your cares on him.

He will set you free.

Free to thank him for what he has done,

free to thank him for what he is doing,

and free to thank him for what he is going to do.

No matter what, Thank God Anyhow.
