Thankful I Got Boosted for A Story that Completely Drained Me.
I couldn’t write anything after that painful one I wrote yesterday. The one where I had to dredge up traumatic moments in my life.
It left me feeling extremely self conscious. But it was truly from my gut.
I saw something different today, when I obsessively checked my stats page. I do that when I get writer’s block. Ok I do that all the time. And I saw the word Boosted. It felt unreal to be honest.
And then I checked my email, which I don’t always check as it’s flooded with junk, and saw this.
Thank you Liz and Medium angels and whoever deemed me worthy. My flagging self-esteem needed the boost. (Corny I know but it’s true)
I don’t know much about what this Boost means, so I read the link they added in the email, by CEO Tony Stubblebine.
Will be updating this post as I get more insight. It’s my 90th story since I joined on 21 April 2023. Into the partner program a month later after I got 100 followers organically.
