Dear Mom,

Growing up in our house was a creative experience for me. I am grateful that I was surrounded by colorful walls, paintings, art supplies, yarn, weaving, drawings, and more.

You always look to create beauty in your life.

What a beautiful way to grow into the creative person I am today. I appreciate that you taught me that I could make whatever I wanted in life from all of your creative pursuits.

It was fun to learn how to weave, sew, draw and create at your side. It gave me a sense of boundless possibilities wherever I go.

I am not afraid of colors when I paint my home, and I look to create beauty all around me.

Thank you for teaching me that color can captivate our hearts.

Your paintings, sculptures, weavings, and drawings are a source of inspiration for me. You were my first creativity teacher, and I will always carry those lessons in my heart.

I love to see how much you still love to create, weaving towels and curtains. From you, I learned to love my home, making it my own.

I know that I can always create more and that abundance will never leave me.

Thank you, Mom, for all that you continue to teach me through your creativity.

Love, Trista
