Thank You Dear Lovely Lady
Our hearts overflow with gratitude

Thank you dear lovely lady for being the kind-hearted soul that you are Thank you for trying to help at a time my son needed it most
Thank you for thinking of others even ones who are strangers to you Thank you for showing us all that goodness is still alive in this world
Thank you for being a hero one we will remember with love and sincerity Thank you for the place you have taken in our hearts overflowing with gratitude
How can we ever repay you for what you have done for our family? Why is it that we’re still together when your family now lives without you?
The journos called you a Good Samaritan; it’s a badge you so honorably deserve I wish I could have pinned it on you and thank you in person for being you
One day if I’m ever so lucky I might get the chance to meet up with you Heaven, they say, is wonderful and it’s even better now it has you.

For those of you who haven’t heard, my son was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident a few days ago. A dear, lovely lady saw the predicament he was in, stopped her car, and in the process of crossing the roadway to reach my son, was struck by another vehicle. Tragically, she died at the scene.
I’ve written more about it here, but right now I want to say thank you to the dear, lovely lady.
May she rest in peace and her soul be set free in Heaven for eternity.
On behalf of my son, and my whole family, we wish to extend our sincerest sympathies to the dear, lovely lady’s bereaved family, friends, and work colleagues. There are no words to express the sadness we feel for them as they process her passing and navigate life without her in it. We wish them peace and love, and the comfort in knowing the lady they knew and loved so much will never be forgotten.
Thank you, Trista Signe Ainsworth for having the idea to set up Thank You Notes publication. It gives me comfort knowing that this piece is where it belongs. 🙏 💕
