Thank You — Creator of All Created

What I have I get from you

I know that you are called by many things. You are called the universe, you are called Mother Earth, you are called Jehovah, you are called Allah, and you are called God.

For me, you are the Creator of All Things Created and I am grateful for all your creation and all that you have given me.

I thank you for this beautiful blue ball upon which we live. I give thanks for the intricacies of the systems you put in place. How each star and planet is hung by its balance with the other stars and planets around it. How infinitely large and infinitely small the cosmos is and how impossible it is for me to understand it.

I am grateful for the ecological systems that you have in place and how accommodating they have been for us humans even though we don’t always see how harmful we have been to them.

Thank you for where I live! I am so privileged to live in such a beautiful place.

The tall, majestic oaks and maples in my yard, the stream that runs through my small property. The fact that where I live is near a river, but not so near that I ever get flooding is a blessing. The stream is enough.

I am grateful that I live in this, the country of my birth, and I am equally grateful that I live in this part of the country. We get only the remnants of hurricanes. We only get small earthquakes, small tornadoes, and the snow we get only lasts a couple of weeks at worst.

What a blessing! The flowers that bloom here all year round are always a delight to see. I am grateful for my gardens. The perennial garden and the herb gardens close to the house are so beautiful this time of year. The vegetable garden is just starting to bring forth its fruit.

Thanks for the birds who sing and awaken me in the morning. No one could sleep through that chorus of chirping and crowing (I have roosters)! Not that I really mind. The mornings here are peaceful. I enjoy it at a leisurely pace. I enjoy having a cup of coffee and breakfast before starting my day.

Thank you for the ability to feed and water the flock. I know that in many parts of the world right now many people don’t have enough food or water for themselves, let alone their livestock, but you have provided me with what the animals need.

Thank you for the garden that I am currently tending. I can’t really say that I am growing it! I just tend it and nurture it and give it pep talks. You’re the one who allows life to grow and become fruitful.

Thank you so much for the learning that I have been getting! I am grateful that my mind is clear and that I retain what I learn. I know that not everyone has that ability or has lost it due to illness.

I am grateful that you are creative and that you have bestowed that creativity onto me. It such a privilege to be able to create because that creative ability didn’t originate with me. It originated with you!

You were the one who created me, not I you! Creative is what you are, and because of that, allowing me to be like you is such an honor! I feel as though I am a part of you, and your greater consciousness, when I write.

I thank you for my children, my friends, and my remaining brothers. I thank you for the relationships that I have had, family, friendships, and intimate relationships that I had, but are no longer. Whether they ended because of death or otherwise, I have learned from them all. I thank you for the relationships I currently have. I thank you for my friends.

I thank you for my three beautiful children. Each of them different, but each of them healthy, smart, and productive in their own ways.

My eldest son has dyslexia, and he was not able to read until he was in the fourth grade. However, that didn’t stop him from building his own heavy equipment operation.

He will soon be a father as well. My middle son, though born poor, decided when he was three that he was going to “move to the city and go to college.”

He went to college, joined the military, went back to college to get his degree, and is living in a city with a beautiful young woman and works in the leadership in cybersecurity helping protect us.

My daughter took yet another path. She is working her way up the chain in the customer service industry.

Thank you for my health. I have had very few health problems throughout my life, and I am most grateful for that. I can exercise with only the limitations I give it. I can eat healthy foods because they are available. I can sleep because you give me peace.

The words are never enough, but they are sincere,

Thanks for all the Blessings.
