About thirty million people in the United States work in retail sales, nurses, fast food, store clerks, and office employees. Rejoice if you’re one of them.
The best way to handle the daily grind is when you see yourself as the CEO of (place your name here, (__________).
Let me explain.
Here’s my job title;
I am Chief Executive Officer ( CEO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company, RICHARD. In case you do not know, my name is Richard.
My mission statement;
RICHARD provides excellent service were ever employed.
Sales, manufacturing, and Christian ministry all were part of the firm, RICHARD. Plus many other income streams over the years.
I did not see each stint of employment as an end in itself. No, I saw each as building blocks of my own company, of which I am the CEO.
I’m not suggesting you take out a LOC or incorporate. What I am suggesting is a mindset change.
Whether you know it or not, the author of your life is you.

Even though each ‘job’ took years to complete, each contributed to the wealth of RICHARD. By wealth, my focus is not on money alone.
I know there are many ways to accumulate wealth. I’m not discounting any of the avenues you use to build a cash reserve. But there’s more to life than money.
We count the wealth of steady employment in many ways.
Let me count ten ways you build wealth in your life by having a steady job.
I’m sure there are many more you can add. Hopefully, these ten will stir your interest.

2. Creates boundaries
- You will not be available around the house; instead, your availability will be at the job site.
3. Builds friendships outside of your usual group
- You’ll get to know people you otherwise would never know.
4. Earn a steady income.
- Consistency builds wealth. It does.

- Things you never dreamed of doing, you’re doing.
6. Builds inter-personal relationship skills

8. Will expand your understanding of how commerce works for the betterment of people.
- You will begin to recognize the reasons we build things.
9. You are normal.
- According to Statista, at this time in the United States, over 150 million people have jobs. In this year, well over half of the American adults are employed either full or part-time.
10. Builds respect in yourself and others.
- You are now a contributor to the wealth of society regularly. You have become a more stable and reliable person. All because of your consistent work ethic.
Today take a new stab at life as you know it. Become the author, CEO, and CFO of your life.
