Tell Your Children, “I love you.”

Something Your Child Needs to Know Every Morning

Simple. Basic. But magic.

Doesn’t it feel so wonderful to wake up and instantly feel loved? That’s what I want our children of this uprising generation to have. Because I know most of us who are parents now didn’t.

When Our Kids Wake Up

Our kids need to know this feeling of love when they first wake up in their early mornings. We, as parents, are held responsible to let our young ones hear us tell them we love them everyday. Either if that’s by saying, “good morning!” or “I love you!” or “I’m so glad you’re awake now!”. These things need to be heard and felt for proper and emotional growth.

Don’t Worry

Love is something you can never feel too much of; so there’s no need to worry about overwatering your little flower. Your babies will only grow and flourish from this.

Before Their Day Starts, Do This

We put their whole day in perspective if we show them our love towards them before their day starts. The chances of them having a good day will only increase. Less anxiety, less temper-tantrums. Happy parent.

The reason for writing this is for the parents with the children (which I think might be all of us) that wake up in a bad mood, instantly want something as soon as they wake up, or even sometimes pushes us away because we don’t always have the time to pull them in, especially if we are working in the morning.

Using this technique, however you may use it, teaches our kiddos that no matter how they wake up in the morning, we the parents are speaking and reacting with love for them to have a great day ahead of them and to wake up better the next. And this will stay with them as they grow into adulthood.

Remember, our words are powerful and serve as reminders for not only our children but also ourselves. Treating others the way we want to be treated also applies to our kids.

Have a great day!
