Hello all! If you’ve been following me recently, you know that I’ve undertaken two curation projects:

Both projects are a chance for me to read and engage with content and fellow writers, building community through sharing their work!

In ā€œTo 100 and Beyond With Love,ā€ specifically, I am pursuing the dual purpose of promoting writers with under 200 followers to help them solidify their following with the impending December 31st deadline for the Medium Partner Program.

I spent most of my academic and professional career writing literary analysis or teaching others how to write it.

Diving deep and exploring the nuances of what I am reading brings me great joy. Symbols, imagery, metaphors, hooray — I could swim in the ocean of literary devices all day!

Here’s Where You Come In

Ok, enough Seussin’ around, let’s get down to business.

I am only one person with ONE Medium feed. Thankfully, Medium ā€œgetsā€ me sometimes and fills up my homepage with delicious reads that feed my soul and mind.

Other times, it feels a bit like that first (and last) date with the guy who had me walk him home.

ā€œThis was nice,ā€ he smiled as he closed the door, leaving me stranded in downtown Philadelphia at midnight, AND it was raining.

I swear I heard Simon and Garfunkel harmonizing nearby as I trudged through those puddly streets!

Ultimately, I’m only one person. I can only take my boat so far past the harbor of the Medium homepage before night sets in and I gotta turn back!

So, I want to know the writers you love the most!? I want you to comment about articles that make you feel:

or

or

That gif rant was me A) sharing some of my favorite shows with you and B) telling you to send me writing that evokes a strong (authentic) emotional response.

Hit the comments section and tell me:

  • One of your favorite Medium reads from this week! (Be sure to link)
  • What do you love most about the piece?

Note: I know YOU may be your favorite writer. And as an only child Leo who is a type 8 on the enneagram…no judgment! BUT the point is to foster a community spirit through promoting the work of others!

And, yes, if I use your recommended article in either of my curated reviews, I will for sure give you a SHOUT OUT for the recommendation!

Keep doing what you do, and let’s work together to make Medium a great space for writers to thrive and grow! šŸ’—āœŒ
