Sometimes I wait in dark corners for you to appear dressed in red pajamas dragging your teddy bear behind you. You sing lullabies to the bear and laugh out loud when you spot me pretending to be invisible. I wish you were still a child and not some grown woman living a thousand miles away in another city raising your own daughter who drags her teddy bear behind her. Sometimes all I have is my memories of you dressed in red pajamas.
