Dream of reaching the space

When technology hits, The slow ones miss, It moves so quickly, The speed of lightning, Difficult to catch the speed, Move fast or be left behind.

Typewriters have changed to computers, Manual cars to the automatic, Landlines to mobile phones, Telegrams to Emails, Finance becomes fintech, Technical to technocrat.

Long lectures to presentations, Essays to short forms, Photos to voice calls. videos to television, Letters to Whatsapp messages. Messages to abbreviations.

Internet of things picks up data, Artificial intelligence makes it move The modern world moves on, Dream of reaching the space, Think big and move fast, Technology is a hit.

This morning, I thought of how the world is changing so fast. All the stages in life in the modern space that we have gone through. Dr. Mehmet Yildiz has started this new publication Technology hits at the right time. I had written this poem and I thought it would fit best in ‘Technology Hits’

I believe in change and also moving on with the times, though it is actually very difficult because technology is moving really fast.
