Teach Your Daughters About Red Flags
It May Save Their Life
In my early thirties, I finally left an abusive relationship and struggled to figure out my life. I had absolutely no relationship skills.
Then I discovered Red Flags.
I didn’t know people used controlling behaviors to ensure their partner would remain in the relationship. They’re very subtle.
They range from quiet comments and a meaningful glance to outright gaslighting. Eventually, the victim of these actions becomes isolated from their friends and begins to doubt their sanity.
Please Believe Me When I Tell You
There are always people out there who are sure they know what is best for you. They’re confident in their rightness and won’t hesitate to tell you what you should be doing.
Trusting yourself is about finding your inner authority and cultivating it. The more you exercise that muscle, the more often it will reveal its secrets to you.
Play Safe or Risk It For Your Dreams
Learn to trust yourself.
Sometimes we stay with someone for all the wrong reasons. Sometimes we don't see the red flags popping up all around us because we don't know how to look for them.
