Tapping Our Woes Away

Each of us has our traumas, battles, and insecurities. Normally carefully hidden away from the rest of the world.
Recently I was introduced to EFT tapping.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a technique to relieve emotional and physical pain. It involves tapping with your fingertips on certain acupuncture points while saying a specific script. Everybody’s script is different depending on the individual and their distress, but the order is important to clear out negative thoughts and emotions.
I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
Even though I am filled with anxiety, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
Even though I feel so much sadness, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
Even though I am ruled by my fears, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
Even though I am consumed with insecurity, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
I choose to change this anxiety for serenity and inner peace.
I choose to change this sadness for optimism and joy.
I choose to change my fears for bravery against the unknown.
And I choose to change my insecurities for certainty about my worth.
Because I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
Intelligent, independent, always ready with a joke.
Sincere, loyal, and without any filters.
A beautiful person with so much to give,
I am a woman filled with illusions and love.
Just as I am, with defects and wounds,
I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
EFT tapping has helped reduce my anxiety and recognize my triggers and has proved to be a powerful tool on my self-healing journey. If you're struggling to change a behavioral pattern or suffering from negative emotions, maybe you could try it.
