Abstract

d="aed1">“Human civilization goes through cycles of approximately 5,125 years. Right now we are smack dab in the middle of where one cycle ends and a new one begins. The new civilization coming about now will be based on very different thinking. For the new thinking to take hold the old thinking must be released. Humans don’t like to let go of old habitual ways of thinking. They are deeply ingrained so it takes major events to shake their thinking so that we can start embracing new and different thinking.”

“And Ma Nature is only happy to help. It’s an unsustainable system that not only is destroying the planet but creating massive suffering of humans everywhere. We are moving from a system of predatory competition to a system of cooperation, from a system of separation to a system of inclusive community, from constant war to peace, from male energy to female energy. Talking Her Down Off the Ledge

The current importance of communication

Yesterday I got a phone call from a dear friend that I have known for close to thirty years. She has always been a very intelligent (and psychic) person who has spent many years helping and giving advice to others. Now suddenly she needed advice and someone to talk to. So she called me.

I guess everyone else was busy. Actually, most of her friends have died and I’m one of the few still alive that she can talk to about serious matters. She is in her late Seventies and lives alone way out in the country with her two kitty cats. Since her stroke she quit the internet and now her main access to the outside world is television.

“What the hell is going on?” she kept asking me. She was in full-blown panic mode. Her cable TV had been down all day.

“Is the world coming to an end? I’ve been watching the news every day — and all the talk shows. It’s like this Corona thing is bringing about the end of civilization. Everything has come to a screeching halt. People are dying and losing their jobs and the economy is crumbling. They say it’s putting us into another recession but it looks to me like we’re headed into another Great Depression. Things have been getting worse with each passing day and now the TV is down and I don’t even know what’s going on. I was going to go grocery shopping tomorrow — I always go on Tuesdays — but now I’m afraid to. And I only have three rolls of toilet paper left!”

“Listen. Take some deep breaths. Relax. The only thing you really have to fear is that when you get to the grocery store that there won’t be any toilet paper left. That’s not a life or death situation. Don’t give in to the panic. Let me tweak your perspective, okay?”

“But I’m also almost out of cat food and birdseed.” She has always been one to feed stray animals and birds and pets. Her grandkids call her, Kitty Grandma. She used to have seventeen cats but she has outlived all of them but two. One of her biggest fears is that if she dies she won’t be there to feed the animals.

“It’s very easy to panic right now and that is what most people are doing. But if you’re panicking then you’re not seeing the big picture.”

“What?”

“Human civilization goes through cycles of approximately 5,125 years. Right now we are smack dab in the middle of where one cycle ends and a new one begins. The new civilization coming about now will be based on very different thinking. For the new thinking to take hold the old thinking must be released. “2037! I’ll be dead by then.”

“Don’t say that! You’ll only be in your nineties.”

“Oh. Uh… yeah I guess so. So maybe I will be able to see the new age.”

“Not until we see it can it be seen.”

She laughed, “Now that sounds like something White Feather would say.”

“Actually, it sounds like something you would have said twenty years ago.”

She laughed again, “Yeah, you’re absolutely right. Geez, I seem to be forgetting everything. I guess I let myself get caught up in the panic.”

“It’s because you watch too much TV. Listen, as for the Coronavirus you’re a lot safer than most humans.”

“Yes, and remember that Abraham quote that you used to have on your website back when you had a website, ‘Worrying is using your imagination to create something you don’t want.”

“Now that’s a true friend; someone who is willing to share their toilet paper.”

We both laughed.

I was so glad I was able to talk my friend down off the ledge. After the phone call I felt good for her but I also felt good within myself. It always feels good to help others. I also realized how important communication is at times like these. We all need to keep talking to each other.
