Talking About a Revolution *(edited)
Change must come for the betterment of all creation. No more talk.
Talking about a Revolution
People are so tired of the same old shit
Pretending to be okay when they know they are sick
Running from things that do not make sense
Leaving home looking for better, not a pretense
Running from hell straight back into hell
Where were you going to go when hell is in yourself?
Where are you going to find peace? where did it go?
Few know it does not exist anymore
Seeking it in the living room in the kitchen on the bed
Peace will not be found here not even in your head
Is Peace a condition only found in the mind?
I seek peace everywhere I go, all the time
Some things must be given up somethings must change
I am talking about a revolution a total change of game
Wolves and vultures in men’s clothing laughing and walking
Playing dangerously with others’ lives, yes group stalking
Sleepless nights radiation-directed-weapons filled days
What if they were the ones getting hit with those deadly rays?
No one cares no one hears no one seems to know
Many turn their backs and say “I gotta go”
Then go on with their lives pretending all is well
While many living alone are experiencing hell
A revolution is what we need right now
To continue in this dystopic gloom-fest, I cannot see how
Going along with their families to commit these sins
Neighbors, relatives, loved ones, and friends
All of them are victims or part of the deceit
Persons dumb, soddish, inept, foolish, incomplete
It is not peaceful it is not even fair
People should be safe in their homes and anywhere
But more so in their places of residence
Especially when the hounds of hell’s intent make no sense
People say “don’t talk about them you talk too loud”
“They’re going to hear you then freedom will never be allowed”
F word them f word them f word them to death
I speak for all of us suffering this shit — not just myself
* “I for one believe that if you give people a thorough understanding of what confronts them and the basic causes that produce it, they’ll create their own program, and when the people create a program, you get action.” ~Malcolm X
Souls that will do anything for a dollar
Torturing, killing only to hear them holler
For help but there seems to be no help found
A revolution would shut all this shit down
Where are our heroes, our mighty and wise Brothers?
When will you stop accusing and cussing out each other?
We need your help we need your leadership urgently!
Put in the work, build a nation of your people quiet and quickly.
We, women, are holding our own and we have done it alone
We do not blame you for not being here it was planned all along
For you, our leaders to be hunted, brainwashed, and killed
To remove your manhood, strength, and your power of will
We have no protection our own people are on the prowl
For the oppressor, they are working hour after hour
I know a change is going on, yes, it is on its way
We should start to prepare now by uniting today
Change is coming, change is coming I feel it in the wind
Change is coming soon my people we must unite again
They made laws to protect all nations but none to protect us
I keep calling our unity and be ourselves that we trust
Change is coming! Change is coming… it is inevitable.
We have no time to wait for misinformed formidables
Stop being your own enemy we have already had enough
It is real it’s hard out here it’s tough, I know it is truly rough
Until we turn to brotherhood get right among ourselves
No solutions will magically appear, and you are not by yourself
Read study research discover expose the truth of who you are
Unless we address immediately what we have been mildly subpar
It is okay to know who you are, the other nations already know
Been hiding our truth from us and hating us wherever we go
You see what I see stop pretending you do not know or forgot
Change is coming whether you are ready for it or not
I am not against any other nation I just want my people free
No more evil lying destructive ones no more serving the enemy
* “We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.” ~ Dr, Martin Luther King, Jr.
Young people wake up and brother especially you must rise
You are the ones who are responsible to get us on each other’s sides
There are enough of you to come together, get out of your own way
Listen to each other you all have something useful, and valuable to say
I seek change, I want to witness a land secure, serene, and free
Where our own men rule the land equitably and righteously
I want to see this change; I really want to see it before I die
But if I do not, I will keep on trying to wake my people. Why?
Like King and Malcolm and other visionaries,
freedom’s vision does not lie
I will continue to try to wake my people
until the day I die.
* “You don’t have to be a man to fight for freedom. All you have to do is to be an intelligent human being.” ~Malcolm X
