Take The Chance

Don’t be afraid, for love is near. A familiar foe, she’ll always be here. Don’t be afraid to leave your home and roam- The world beyond will not you harm. All the promises that it holds are true, So don’t let worry keep you home.

It’s funny, right? I’ve been here since the moment that you have been. Of course, I was there before then too. But it’s always just so funny to me. Don’t be afraid of the things that happen in life. They will come and go like just an instant of time- one minute, gone again. Don’t ever let yourself be afraid. Whether it’s a person, a place, or a thing… You will move on. All roads lead here and there. And here and there are okay places to be. Don’t be afraid of things that may happen- you can’t live your life in fear, can you?

You’re not the only one who thinks about moving on. Some people do it all the time in their heads- “I wonder if I will move on… To where… ” And it’s okay. But then again, some people are afraid of dying, too. It’s okay to be afraid of death too. I’m not going to lie- the thought of moving on doesn’t make me so happy, either. But it is okay to think about dying sometimes. But at least you can say that you did what your heart desired even when it scared you a little bit: “I am here, and I have arrived. I have arrived. I have arrived!”

You feel that, right? It’s okay to feel that way. And whatever you say at this point… It’s always so funny to me. You can look up and see the stars every single time. You can look down and see the ground every single time. You can look left and see the past every single time. You can look right and see the future every single time. And you will always be here, as you are now.
