Take a Ride with Me-The Adventures of Books

Where will you go when you crack that cover?

Placed in no order

These books have meanings for life

Each contains stories

Stacked when gathered on their sides

Taking adventurous roads

Detours, if you will

Like being as it is so

You don’t know where to

But you do know side roads come

And go and lead on

Grasping each book of knowledge

Encyclopedias: recall?

Take a ride with me

To the countryside of time

Imagine along

Those roads lead to unknown gifts

Won’t you buckle up your seat

It’s going to be

Fun to adventure you know

Just give it a solid try

Open that cover

Smell the paper aged with life

Doesn’t that tickle

Every part of your nose

Such a pulpacious delight

Open up the world

In the pages as you turn

Keep the mind open

For you never know just when

Those roads will call you away

Ride away with me

Take adventures by the wing

Grasp the talons tight

Then let go and simply breathe

Landing an option

Make it certain not to bump

Or just take a chance

Who knows if that’s just the stop

You need to go even more

Hitching on the end

Which adventure will you try?

There are many more

Never ending when you think

it’s all in the ride of life
