Swimming in the Ocean
How far do we go?
Every event that has happened in our lives was a ‘probable event’ before it ever became an ‘actualized event.’
Every painting a painter ever paints was a ‘probable image’ before it ever made it onto canvas.
Every story a writer writes was a ‘probable story’ before the story was ever made manifest through the striking of keys upon a keyboard.
Every person in our lives was a ‘probable encounter’ before we ever met them.
The infinite field of infinite possibilities and infinite probabilities can provide us with anything we desire.
How often do we venture into that infinite field? And do we travel through that infinite field with an open and empty mind? Or do we carry with us the baggage of preconceived notions and attitudes and images?
Are we a painter who merely skims the surface of the infinite field of infinite possibilities and infinite probabilities looking for something to match something we feel we should paint? Do we merely dip our toes in the water without really getting fully wet? Or do we rocket deep into that infinite field with a blank canvas and a blank mind?
How open are we to that field? How fearful are we of it? How much thinking do we utilize to insulate ourselves from the unknown?
How open, raw and naked are we? How far are we willing to go? How willing are we to surrender to the possibilities and probabilities waiting for us to bring them to life?
