Swim Against the Odds

turtle keep swimming riding swift ocean currents conquering all odds.

Sea turtles are some resilient ocean swimmers. From birth, the odds are stacked against them. Only one in every thousand baby turtles will survive into adulthood. The hatchlings have to fight their way to the ocean before they are devoured by their natural land predators.

So, they begin their lives fighting to get to their destinations, but once they reach the ocean, freedom is their ultimate goal.

If they manage to overcome additional odds during their lives, these creatures can live up to 100 or more years. Therefore, like the little turtle hatchlings and as Dory once reminded us, just keep swimming, just keep swimming even if the odds are against you, you will eventually reach your final destination.

Keep swimming sea turtle. Don’t let anything stand in your way, not even those pesky humans and those damn plastic bags.
