CHRISTMAS MEMORIES
Sweet Christmas Memories Are Made of Special Moments With Family and Friends
I hope your Christmas is full of unexpected treasures like this one

We’d just finished a delicious Christmas Eve dinner and were about to clear the table when my father said, “Wait here a moment,” and left the room. He returned a minute later and placed a small rectangular box on the table. Nobody spoke as we sat expectantly.
Dad opened the box, and inside was a beautifully polished, engraved harmonica. Without looking up, he picked up the instrument, closed his eyes and treated us to a gentle, note-perfect rendition of Silent Night.
As the rich harmonies drifted in the candlelight, my eyes began to fill, and by the end of the piece, my mother and sisters were also in tears.
Afterwards, he carefully placed the harmonica back in the box, closed the lid, and left the room. We sat in silence for a few moments, not wanting to break the spell. I’d never heard my father play the harmonica before, and I never heard him play again.
Dad returned to the table with a shy smile and looked around in wonder at our tear-stained faces. This moment is one of my most treasured Christmas memories.
The magic of Christmas is found in special moments with loved ones and people we encounter in our daily lives. I hope you’ll enjoy beautiful moments and create memories to cherish this Christmas. 💗
