Surprising Elements Of Your Thoughts!
Your Speculations Should Be Precise

English philosopher James Allen wrote: "As a man thinks, so he is; as he continues to think, so he remains." Stoic and Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius wrote: "A man's life is what his thoughts make of it." Poet and philosopher Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote: "A man is what he thinks about all day long." Author Earl Nightingale said: "We become what we think about," and Mark Twain wrote: "Life consists mainly of the storm of thoughts that is forever flowing through one's head."
All these great minds discovered the secret to living a happy, purposeful, and productive life, and it's this:
We live in a world of thought, and our thoughts create our experiences, and thus, we experience what we think.
It is the quality of our reviews, then, that makes the quality of our life.
When we're unhappy where we are in life, we seek to create change.
So we transform our environment, believing that doing so will create the necessary change we hope to see. We buy things for a materialistic boost of happiness. We travel to escape our problems. We seek substances to numb the mind and help us forget.
But of course, we fall back to where we had started: unhappy with where we are today.
And so, the cycle repeats itself. We buy, travel, and forget – always focusing on the external factors we need to alter to create better circumstances.
This happens because we falsely assume that change begins from the outside. In truth, the environment does play a role in changing your circumstances, but it doesn't address the root of the cause (your thinking) that is the driver behind why you feel the way you do.
Here’s what I have realized in my life experience:
"If you get the inside right, the outside will fall into place." – Eckhart Tolle.
It all begins with your thoughts – our life experiences spring from the ideas we actively engage in: You are what you believe.
There's a 'secret' that all great historical and present thinkers, philosophers, and high achievers have agreed to be a universal truth.
This secret revolves around this simple idea: You are what you think
Mahatma Gandhi has said :
Your beliefs become your thoughts; Your thoughts become your words,
Your words become your actions, our actions become your habits,
Your habits become your values, and our values become your destiny.
Once we agree to give our attention to a thought, it becomes more and more real to us over time and has more and more power over our life." It triggers an emotion, which then triggers a body reaction and drives us to act in a certain way. This is how your thoughts shape your reality, and this is why you are what you think.
Your thoughts are the genesis of any actions. Whatever you do, any action you take is scorned by a single thought. These thoughts – simple, sometimes complex – are what lead to the activities that define your life. Even the inaction's – those things you don't do – started somewhere in your mind.
Thoughts create actions — Actions get results.
The Buddha once said, "The thought manifests as the word; the word manifests as the deed; the deed develops into habit; habit hardens into character. So, watch the thought and its ways with care." Thought dictates everything.
The lesson here? Take care of your thoughts. Give them attention. Give them time. Examine, define, and evaluate them. Classify them. Are they negative? Are they rooted in the past? Are you consumed with thoughts and ideas that don't serve you? Are there things that you need to let go of?
Can you change your thoughts?
Well, not precisely, Thoughts are automatic. There's no lag time between generating study and its arrival into your mind. These thoughts are based on our past experiences, but you can train your reaction to them. Instead of an automatic response that spirals into old, familiar habits, examine the thought. Wonder where it came from. Turn it over and look at it. And if it isn't the truth, dismiss it. Train your mind to react differently. This will lead to new thinking and new habits. It takes time. It takes enormous patience. But it also takes something that is so often difficult to give to oneself: kindness. Forgiveness, Treat yourself like a beloved friend. Forgive your mistakes.
When you do, you will open yourself up to the positivity that will lead to thoughtful action. That action is what will change your life. Just changing your mind to more positive thoughts can have an immediate and profound impact on who you are, what you do, and how people respond to you.
And you can start right now. Do you know how? Just smile—a simple smile. Even if you have to force it, it will change your mood even if you feel silly. It might start insincere and forced, but if you hold it long enough, it will transform your insides to match the happy figure on the outside. That smile will be accurate. It's the ultimate "fake it 'til you make it."
And that happy mood? It will inspire satisfied, lighter, kinder thoughts. That will lead to actions. To habits. To the rest of your life.
