In a significant turn of events, the school's faculty, led by Principal Robertson, has decided to stand in solidarity with the students. The students have been on strike for days, following the last mass shooting.

This morning, the school faculty joined them.

Principal Robertson told the press he had not only allowed it, he encouraged it. “They want us to carry weapons,” he said. “We will always do our best to protect our students, but this goes too far. None of us are paid enough to risk our lives or the students’ lives.”

He joined the protest, hoisting a sign: “Teaching and learning requires a safe environment. Ban assault weapons now!”

The students and faculty cheered.

A MAGA-hatted gentleman yelled, “Snowflakes!”

Author’s note:

I’m so tired of this issue. Whatever happened to common sense?
