Sunday’s my favorite morning in the garden — no cars, mail trucks, or commotion as I gather my meal.


Planting basil, onions, and parsley with tomatoes keep them healthy. As I pull the onions, I plant more. I also keep the basil harvested. I don’t know why it works. 73–20=53; so it’s worked for 53 years. I don't need to know why.

Each day I gather for my meals. Each day I have enough to share.
After my walkabout the garden, I spent the morning watching bees, trees, and bumblebees. I trimmed leaves and gave thanks for my blessings.
