Sunday Morning Walk
A Spiritual Poem
God stopped by one Sunday morning and I asked why He was not in church. He chuckled and said that He preferred to walk among those considered to be lost and damned rather than to break bread with hypocrites and the self-righteous. He added that churches often made Him sick to His stomach and that He enjoyed a stroll down Main Street. I offered Him an omelette and toast.
