Sunday morning forest breakfast

A quick story, actually mostly photos of the place where I just had breakfast.

I was coming this way:

And was headed here:

A small corner of forest where I sometimes have Tea with Nature.

I had breakfast sitting right there. Photo by author Luciano Abriata.

The remains of a former huge tree were my bench. That’s right above a river, so sitting there you get to see the whole surroundings:

While having my tea and a croissant I walk around a bit.

Still some flowers and fruits strive into the fall.

And fungi, of course. They were everywhere, but I especially liked these two colonies:

The sun is there, but since the trees still keep their leaves, the sunrays can barely reach me. Plus, the air is quite moist, so it feels a bit cold. Time to wrap up and continue my hike!

Check out this other spooky story that happened around here…
