A haiku
peeking with brilliance blue sky and pillowy clouds sun plays hide and seek
On Wednesday, August 18th, my friend Gina and I took a short photography road trip to Green Cove Springs, a small city 50 miles away on route to Jacksonville. I hadn’t been out of my town in more than a year. It was glorious to have a change of scenery, especially in a place unfamiliar to me. The weather was dangerously hot (heat index of 109) but the St. John’s River provided a steady breeze. After a summer of nearly constant daily rains, we were fortunate to have brilliant sunshine and no threatening clouds. I wrote about a park we visited here:
