Subtle Gems in Modern Music
Enjoy some bite-size Heaven on Planet Earth
As I am a big music fan and love to hear new original music as well as create it, I thought I would share with you, from time to time, a few fabulous songs that I’ve discovered on the internet.
As you may be aware, there are many relatively unknown songs online today, that simply fly under the radar of public attention. However, I believe that a lot of these songs are too good to go unnoticed, as they are unique, colorful and often not confined to the formulas of commercial music. Therefore, I’ve selected four remarkable gems that I think you will love.
Three of these songs are written by the fabulous and very talented, prolific U.K. Singer/Songwriter and instrumentalist, David Tellett, who is the focus of this story, and all four songs are performed by David.
So let’s kick things off with Track 1, which is a very memorable and inspiring composition: ‘Don’t Get The Wrong Idea’ © David Tellett.

David is very unique in the way that he can turn his hand to many different styles of music and songwriting. If you didn’t already know, you may think his songs were written by different people, but they’re not, they’re all from this one huge talent.
Hence, David’s songs are wonderfully unpredictable, full of color, vibrancy and unique creativity. So here is another one; a serene and dreamy contrast to the previous track, and it’s called ‘Simple Religion’ © David Tellett.
David records and produces all his own songs, as well as music for other artists (including myself), from his own recording studio in Surrey, England. If you enjoy these original tracks, you can follow David on Soundcloud and keep up-to-date with all his new music.
