Submission Guidelines | Pets & Animals

Please follow these guidelines when submitting articles!

SUBMISSIONS OPEN — AUGUST 2021

October 2021 update — name changed to Pets & Animals to broaden our writer base a bit. This publication was always meant to be there to celebrate animals, with a particular ask for animal rescue related stories where possible. Unfortunately this is a very limited niche on Medium! So I’m changing the name to make it clear what we accept!

Pets & Animals will consider the following articles

  1. Unpublished works/still in draft form
  2. Published works that haven’t been submitted to other publications and that you are willing to delete and resubmit to Pets & Animals
  3. Multiple submissions at a time are encouraged

Submitting an UNPUBLISHED work for review

  1. Complete your article to the highest standard and do not publish it
  2. Click the options on the top right and select ‘share draft link’
  3. Send this (and any other unpublished works) to us to review

Submitting a PUBLISHED work for review

  1. Do not delete the work before submitting in case it isn’t a fit or the right timing for our publication
