All work must adhere to Medium’s Rules and Curation Guidelines.
Stories should be well-written with spelling and grammar checked prior to submission.
Only previously unpublished work will be shared.
Only one submission per person per day.

Story Categories

Currently Short Shorts accepts fictional stories that are 1000 words or less (not including titles).

As a general guide, short fiction categories are as follows:

Micro fiction is 100 words or less
Fun-size fiction is 300 words or less
Sudden fiction is 750 words or less
Flash fiction is no more than 1000 words
