A profitable content marketing strategy is often just as effective as your online profile is professional. Forget about building a content marketing strategy to generate sales with a faceless and incomplete profile.
Having a content marketing strategy means you have a journey on which you can take your visitors. But your reader or visitor will only complete the journey if you maintain curiosity.
Your job is to offer content and give tiny bits away, but just not enough to get the whole picture. Make your reader want to know what comes next. Have the journey end with the solution they have been looking for.
That is basically what content marketing strategies are, In a nutshell. It is (or should be) an exciting journey on the topic, maintaining curiosity.
Two of my own personal content marketing strategies involve the following steps. Both are quite similar, just using different platforms to reach different audiences. It can start as simple as a Facebook post.

Something as simple as a Tweet can be equally effective, but I have to be honest and say that consistency is very important. For consistency to work best, timing is rather important by means of GEO targeting.
Although both these basic strategies are very effective. Without consistency, they would be “dead in the water”. But consistency must be accompanied by moderation too.

As mentioned in the beginning under this heading, your profile is of utmost importance. That goes for any profile on any platform. But here’s some good advice on a professional Medium profile.
The basics of which you can apply to any professional online profile. Show your audience who you are, what you do, and why your solutions to their problems are better!
Find What Works Best For You.
We cannot all be super successful bloggers, just as we cannot all be social media rock stars, top writers, outstanding YouTubers, or TikTok superstars.
We all have different interests, talents, and levels of knowledge on a particular subject or topic or niche. Therefore, we all have our own unique ways of “standing out”.
For me personally, content marketing strategies involving all Major Social Networks (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram) Medium, and Quora work rather well.
However, I use different content marketing strategies with different sites. Mixing and matching different steps together and moulding them into a content marketing strategy that ends at the affiliate offer.
With Quora, for instance, I was able to reach as many as 1.4 Million content views in one month. Guess where the Quora answers are redirecting to? Yip, Medium posts!
Your job is to do the same mixing and matching and find what works for you. There are so many different kinds of content marketing strategies that I couldn’t possibly include them in a single post.
This is why I decided to include the basic structure of two of my best content marketing strategies. Above you can see an illustration of Quora content views in One Year.
The image below is just a preview of a one-week growth with a brand-new Facebook group. But building your own large audiences does take time, so be patient.
In this case (as illustrated on Facebook) it did happen relatively fast. Growing by around 200 new members in a single week. That’s nearly 30 new members per day on average.
Any content marketing strategy that starts generating sales…eventually, may take a few weeks, or months to get some traction. The point is to have a plan (content marketing strategy), and then FOCUS!
F — Follow.
O — One.
C — Course.
U — Until.
S — Successful.
If you choose to use the Quora strategy, then concentrate on that until you see some sales, not until you grow tired of trying.
Maintain consistency while considering moderation and providing high-quality solutions to identified needs among your readers or visitors. Be a problem solver, not a salesman.
The technique where I used Quora to get readers to Medium also resulted in a rather steep climb, as illustrated below. Medium views rose to over 300 per day!
That is the true reward of compiling and testing different content marketing strategies. That feeling of achievement once you start seeing the results.
That knowing that your content marketing strategy you have just tested, started getting traction gradually but consistently. Where the consistency is of greater value than the volume.
