Stress
A short poem based on a bit of research about stress.
Stress is a little creature, it’s far too small to view, The thing resides in all of us, yes it even lives in you. It starts to wander up the spine and nibbles at your brain, Inducing worry, fear and dread, on course to make you insane. And as it starts to nibble, you’ll get a little ache, The headache’s only going to get worse, you’re not getting a break.
With all the ailments caused so far, you may begin to weep, Now here comes insomnia, you’ll find it hard to sleep. Stress is off and on a roll working its way through you, Nausea and sickness now, or even runny poo! Stress likes to throw a pool party and really thinks its hip, By lowering the immune system viruses can take a dip.
Rapid breathing is on the cards, it may hit you with a whack, A pounding heart will follow with a risk of heart attack. Now ladies, stress can get to you and this isn’t hard to believe, Periods may be late, or you may not even conceive. And Gentlemen you may also get some issues for a while, Play with it all you want, you may not raise a smile.
On a real serious note, the symptoms above are true, Everyone deals with it differently and now its down to you. Watch for signs and watch for symptoms, watch for everything, A bit of help, a caring word is what you need to bring. If you know someone who is suffering, let them know that your about, By working all together we can flush that creature out.
