Strangers.

One thing I always think about is how much of an impact a stranger can have on your life. When I say stranger, I don’t mean like omg run stranger danger, I mean a person I have not known for a while. A stranger is an unknown person, could be a serial killer, a ghost, or a figment of your imagination. All I know is that the term stranger is way too vague to describe these types of people.

Let me explain…

I have had so many encounters with strangers (because I talk too much), both good and bad, that I remember to this day. These experiences have heavily impacted my life, from simple compliments to intense conversations I take these encounters personally.

I take them so personally that I hope to see them again or have an encounter with someone else that brings me the same amount of serotonin.

Being a person on this planet, I’m sure you have a conversation to contribute to.

People for Research

What I mean by this is, that expressing your interests to people you don’t know provides the potential to create some of the best relationships you can ever imagine. At one point in my life, there were many people I had on social media who I simply did not speak to because of a lack of time and interest, and just genuinely not being responsive.

Some of these people that I once didn’t notice are the same people I call my best friends today, individuals I would’ve never imagined to help me develop my mind, spirit, and personality. People who help guide me to being who I am today.

It’s crazy to even think that at one point they were strangers, unknown to me.

One thing that you can take away from this is that you shouldn’t be afraid to be unknown or to meet the unknown,

as Aldous Huxley said, “ there are things known and there are things unknown, and in between are the doors of perception”.

become aware of who is genuinely here to help you, and pick wisely who you decide to make known. Everything else you cannot decide, so my best advice to you is to embrace the uncertainty as nothing is certain and absolutely anything is possible.
