Straddle

Gen straddled his chest, her legs spread wide apart and her arms pushed her up as she looked into his eyes. Kevin looked up at her with glazed eyes, and she heard a sweet hiss from him as he caressed her ass. His hissing joined in with her panting as she rubbed herself against him, then cuddled with him. She had felt so vulnerable and safe with him.
In the beginning.
He had never laid a hand on her, never raised his voice to her but he had battered her so much emotionally it was hard for her to bounce back. Even with dates lined up on the dating app.
She had looked at her phone and there was another guy who liked her, one she did not match with. As she was x’ing him, she saw Kevin’s profile and almost collapsed.
He was on the same dating app she was on, and she wondered if he had seen her? She was safe in the sense that he could only reach out to her if he liked her, and she was sure he was not going to do that.
He obviously had not interacted with her, and she went through the app a little more. Gen had decided to get the premium version of the app, it made sense if this was the one dating app that she used. When she closed the app, she opened it one more time, just to see what his profile said — she could not stop herself. His pictures looked like him, no pretense. If she did not know him, she would want him to like her.
But she knew him.
Matt messaged her — tonight was their first meetup and she was not sure how she felt about it. She wanted to meet him, but she was second-guessing why she had gotten on the app in the first place.
Was that because she questioned herself, or because she was still looking at Kevin’s profile? Her finger lingered absently on his hip on the screen of her phone when she noticed that someone else had liked her within the app. She clicked on the notification and bit her lip.
It was Kevin.
Gen overheated, and jumped up fanning herself. It was too much, how could he possibly think it was okay for him to like her on a dating app? And why as much as she wanted to hate it, did she want to answer him right away?
She put her phone down, and then picked it back up again.
Kevin liked me on the app, she texted Vic.
WTF? Vic texted her. Ignore him Genevieve Claudine, ignore him.
Yeah, Gen texted back looking away from her first and middle name. She could not answer him now anyway because she would look thirsty. But she did not know that she was never going to answer him.
She opened a message from Matt,
See you soon.
She needed to get over the Kevin program immediately. She had been the lone member of the Kevin cult for a long enough time. She could not regress.
See you soon Sexy Librarian! Matt responded.
