The Book That Will Instantly Turn You Into a Better Storyteller

No book has ever changed my thinking and my actions like Storyworthy.
I found it by chance on Amazon. I wanted to learn how to tell compelling stories to my learners, so I just typed “personal storytelling” in the search box, scrolled down and saw it.
It turned out to be one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.
Before reading it, I didn’t like to share my personal stories.
I actually thought what most people think: I don’t have interesting stories to tell and I’m not a good storyteller anyway.
333 pages later I realized that this is simply not true.
Now I have a clear idea about what stories really are, where I can find them, how I can tell them and why I should share them with the world.
I discovered that no matter how boring my life might be, every day I experience at least one moment worthy of a story.
I just need to look closer to see it.
And because I chose to do it, suddenly my life has become full of stories that are waiting to be told.
I said that this is a book that changed my actions too. Soon after I finished it I started a personal storytelling podcast to share bits of me in narrative form.
I do this to connect with the world and encourage my listeners to think about their lives.
I’m an agnostic Italian man who can’t stand shopping centers, social media, Christmas presents, kids and recently even dogs. I have never seen Star Wars, Harry Potter and The Avengers. I’ve been sharing my life with my partner for 10 years but sleep in the same room with her only at weekends.
You may think you and I are very different. But you’ll be surprised how many stories we have in common.
Get a copy of Storyworthy and do what it says in the subtitle. You are a storytelling animal so you have no reason not to do it.
5 stars.
