Storyteller Tactics Review: Free Gold!
For real life: no strings, no catches, just read the story
By the end of this chapter in my Storyteller Tactics review, I will show you exactly where to find something of enormous value.
No cost, no credit card, no email address, no nothing at all needed.
It’s free, it’s yours to do with as you wish and it costs you not one red cent, not one bit of private information, no subscriptions. Nothing. No strings attached.
This has got to be one of the greatest freebies around.
It is what I have been writing about, it is what I intend to spend the next month or so examining in detail, and it is the key to great wealth and happiness, as well as being something valuable in its own right.
The complete Storyteller Tactics deck
That’s right. Every single card. Every word, every image, every symbol of the system complete. For free.
But, hey, let me tell you a story first. Don’t worry, it’s worth it.
Once upon a time in a strange land — Illinois — there was a schoolboy called Charlie Reade.
Charlie’s life wasn’t straightforward. He loses his mother in the first few pages, his father becomes an alcoholic, things are pretty tough.
And then one day something happens that dramatically changes his life’s path. In the course of the story, he repeatedly runs his hands through a bucket of gold nuggets. Tiny nuggets the size of a BB pellet, whatever that is. He finds out where they come from and that can get as much as he wants for free. Just the effort of carrying them back home and cashing them in.
This is possibly the best story I have ever read in my life. And I’ve read a lot of stories.
There’s way more to it than the bald outline above but one of the things that stands out is the sensation of a schoolboy running his fingers through a bucket of gold. We aren’t told where exactly they may be found until much later in the story, but we find out.
It’s an absolute ripper of a tale, told by Stephen King, who certainly knows what he is about in the storytelling trade.
It is well worth reading for the entertainment, the adventure, the terror, the despair, and the victory.
As well as with an informed eye to see exactly how King crafts his tale. He uses a slew of classic mechanisms. The journeyman storyteller would do well to keep their eyes open and a notebook handy to keep track.
In Stephen King’s book, the gold is free but young Charlie must brave some incredible perils to get there and back.
That makes the story work. If there was no challenge, no danger, no struggle, it wouldn’t be worth reading.
Here’s the lesson. Remember this. The cost of forgetting is losing your audience.
Stories progress through conflict (Image by NightCafé and Canva)
Conflict drives the story. We listen to find out what comes next. We want to know how James Bond escapes the villain who has him handcuffed to a nuclear weapon with a countdown timer.
The conflict and the resolution must be something that the reader cannot easily guess. So discard your first thought. And the second, third and fourth. Maybe the fifth thought has a gleam of gold.
Here’s the gold I promised
Unbelievable as it may sound, the folk behind Pip Decks have made the entire 54 cards of the Storyteller Tactics deck available for free.
They are not the physical cards; you have to pay for those.
They are not the card images; you cannot print them straight from the web.
They are not the resources of the Vault, the videos, the helpline, etc.
But they are the cards in words and pictures and you may read them, study them, understand the lessons, use them in your own work.
Simply follow this link, scroll down until you get to a series of card summaries, and click on each image. You will be able to read the text, click on the links to other cards, whatever you want.
There are no strings attached. It’s not an affiliate link, you won’t be asked to register; you just click and there you are, running your mind through the nuggets of storyteller gold.
It’s not a hack
Again, unbelievable but they did this deliberately. There is a blog post explaining why.
If you want to buy something from them — and it’s not just one deck of cards, they got heaps of cool stuff — read on.

Use my discount code BRITNIPEPPER to get 15% off. I get a few dollars in return. The bold links above are affiliates, same deal. Or just go to the website, no strings attached, look around, discover the system for yourself.
My review series is free. I explore the cards, the systems, the tactics, link to independent reviews, and even show you how to get every word, every diagram, every dot point on every card for free, without paying a cent, with the blessing of the firm.
I believe in these cards. They are the wisdom of storytellers, passed on from ages past. The tactics work. They are a secret guide in the palm of your hand, and while they are expensive, they come with a money-back guarantee.
