The NFts craze was observed inside Ethereum during the bull market, and several sidechains also experienced excitement. But now, everyone’s attention is focused on bitcoin. Now there is anticipation that the next bull run of NFTs from which money may be made could come from the blockchain of bitcoin.

1993 Email

2016
Rare Pepes was released in 2016, and it was released on the bitcoin blockchain but processed on a sidechain. Rare Pepes was created using Bitcoin’s sidechain Counterparty (XCP). As a result, the concept of NFTs gradually expanded throughout the market, and a glimpse of a new revolution in crypto was seen.
2017
The actual NFT revolution occurred in 2017 on the Ethereum network. CryptoPunks had hit the jackpot by chance. The procedure of purchasing CryptoPunks was first challenging, but the Opensea platform eventually came. As soon as Opensea appeared, CryptoPunks and Bored Ape Yacht Club gained boom. Both of these NFT collections were very well, and many other projects joined in.
The ecosystem of NFTs was therefore developed and grown in this manner.
Previously, NFTs were created from the Counterparty sidechain, and only bitcoin’s blockchain was utilized for transactions.
Nothing was directly saved on the bitcoin blockchain. But suddenly something has changed.
Bitcoin Code: Taproot
The Bitcoin code remained unchanged. Taproot was recently improved, and as a result, it is now able to divide bitcoin into smaller stacks. This stack can hold images, videos, text, and audio. This information can be recorded on the bitcoin blockchain. As a result, the Ecosystem of Bitcoin’s blockchain became open, offering many more experiments in the future. “Ordinal” has made all of these possible.
The NFTs were the subject of the first experiment in this area, and as soon as it began, several controversies emerged.
Ordinal
By selecting the lowest decimal (Satoshi) number of Bitcoin, the ordinal project can save some data in each Satoshi.
The ordinal idea is still in its early stages. Ordinal refers to a numerical system. You may use Stack to create NFTs in bitcoin. Each of these Stacks has been given a unique number. A block that relates to NFT is created by grouping some Stack. NFTs are saved on the bitcoin blockchain using this mechanis.
Udi Wertheimer
Its all began with a tweet of Udi Wertheimer. A huge block of NFT was minted as part of this. The size of this block is 3.96 MB. The picture showed a bald magician with a thick beard and stylish glasses. This bald magician is advertising taprootWizard.com. This bald magician is responsible for the rise of bitcoin NFTs.
They used mining pools to reduce the size of this bald magician’s picture to 4MB. In order to create a large block, put this picture on the block.
→ Bitcoin’s blockchain is used by a small number of people. People are utilizing the lighting network to execute BTC transactions. Transactions are carried out using a variety of cryptos and associated blockchains. As a result, bitcoin blocks are generally empty, and hitting full block becomes a big deal.

The data about the NFTs minted on Ordinal at the early stage is available on the Ordinalsdirectory.com website. The order in which the Ordinals are being minted is taken into account while calculating the value. The first 1000 NFTs are worth more. It has Bitcoin Rocks, Ordinal Punks, Planetary Ordinals, Bitcoin Punks, and Pepes printed on it. There is currently no trading platform for bitcoin NFTs. This transaction is now taking place on OTC (Over-The-Counter), with Discord Group acting as a Trusted Party.
Recently, Bitcoin Punks, which cost 3.25 BTC (45 ETH), was purchased.
Platform
You may easily purchase and trade NFTs on platforms like as opensea, binance NFT, and Rarible. These bitcoin NFTs have only been available for around two weeks. Since there is no marketplace for these NFTs, purchasing them will not be simple.
Ordinal Project is developing Ordinals Wallet to hold these types of NFTs. This will act similarly to a metamask, allowing it to be easily accessible. Fortunately, such marketplaces will develop soon.
