Content writers are always told that visual content can drive engagement in no time. When Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social networking websites started gaining fame, people showed more and more interest in videos and photos. Today, over 70 percent of visual content gets quick engagement and conversation. This means writers should consider using multiple images in their articles.

If you want to write viral content or are looking to earn hundreds of dollars per post, then you should not use the following types of photos.

Stereotypes And Clichés

Clichés and stereotypes can make your readers feel bad. As a freelance writer, it is your responsibility to convey a particular message without being biased. I think that we all need to shy away from being associated with stereotypes and clichés.

Remember that stereotypes can be offensive to the target audience, so it is better to avoid such photos. Instead, you can use photos that convey beautiful and impressive messages and lead your readers to think outside of the box.

Outdated References

We see that a lot of changes are taking place in the world of the Internet. News stories go old, technological devices are replaced with new ones, and songs go out of trend. If you want to make your content go viral, then please avoid all outdated references.

You can place such references within the text, but there is no need to use them in the form of images or photos. The idea is to use timeless images or the ones that will not bore your readers or followers.

Bad Photoshop Or Editing

I strongly believe that we should not photoshop or edit our images. Instead, we should choose high-quality images from different online and offline sources.

If you pick up a photo from the Internet and edit it, then your target audience may not feel good since there is no guarantee that the results will be outstanding. I suggest you skip blurred or unclear photos so that your readers’ attention can be maintained in the content.
