[My Top Medium Stories]

Hi! My name is Jack Heimbigner!

I have been writing on Medium for nearly two years now and have hundreds of posts available. I wanted to make things easier for you, so I have consolidated all of these stories down to the ones that have been most helpful to others, along with a few of my personal favorites.

Chances are, you found me by reading one of these two posts:

These two pieces have had a lot of readers stop by, but you’ll come to find out more about me and why I write with the following pieces.

But first, a little more about me

I am a husband, father, author, creator, and dedicated friend. My writing reflects much of these aspects of my life, including my faith.

I have changed career paths three times too. My first career was in college athletics. I worked at my alma mater, Washington State University, and a brief stint at Arizona State University. Along the way, I worked on both NCAA and Pac 12 championship events too.

Then, with my new found faith God called me to work for Cru Global. While working for this faith-based, non-profit I shared my faith on college campuses in Portland, Oregon. Most of my work was focused on running conferences and events for college students in Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, and Utah.

My next career move was moving to the insurance field as a claims adjuster. I have been with my current company for the last seven years and it was here that I started to pursue my passion for writing.

My True Passion

I love writing. I love helping people with my writing most of all. The ways I help our of my passions, personal interests, and experiences come in the form of self-discovery, faith, and family. I combine these topics here on Medium.
