Stop Running Behind Money and Start Attracting It to You

Understand this simple psychological truth to achieve what you want.

You are ambitious in your goals, go to bed late, wake up early, sacrifice your family time, work even on festive days, and lose your health. In simple terms, you have sold yourself into earning money.

What’s the result?

The results are not too big, or it is not up to your expectations. You earn just to fulfill your needs or even less or even more.

The efforts you put in are just in vain. It doesn’t serve you well as you want it to be.

But what if I tell you a secret to start attracting money to your bank account?

Seems intriguing? Yes, it’s a simple change to adopt.

DON’T RUN BEHIND MONEY OR BEHIND WHAT YOU DESPERATELY WANT.

Do you know why?

If you constantly chase and run behind what you long for, you are concerned only about the ‘THING’ you want. Your focus is not on the ‘PROGRESS’ of achieving it.

Two ‘Pros’ matter when it comes to success.

Progress and process. There should be a fire burning inside you to attain it. But your focus should be on the process.

Running behind it makes you focus on the ‘Results’ rather than the ‘Process.’

What will be the result of it?

Let’s say you want to earn money on Medium. You start writing and publishing on it. But you are so sick of checking the stats frequently. You notice your stories earn a few cents or dollars.

What will happen? You feel burned out; you become frustrated.

But again your hopes increase and you begin to write and publish.

Here’s the point to note.

Your quality of effort will begin to fall. It will not be as before. If you check the stats frequently, it doesn’t have the power to increase or decrease your earnings.

But it will have an impact on your heart. It has the power to affect you psychologically. It will put you down.

It reduces the quality of effort you put in. It makes you forget that good writing skills and quality content will bring money. It makes you believe that Medium is not a good fit for you. It makes you feel tired if you write only for money.

Of course. Money is our goal on Medium.

But you have to add one more step in between. It is not;

You write consistently on Medium=Earnings in thousands of dollars.

It is:

You write consistently on Medium + Improving the quality of your writing to produce great quality content = Earnings in thousands of dollars.

You got it?

When I started writing on Medium, I had this habit of checking stats not too often; but at least once a day. This made me exhausted.

But soon I learned where I was lacking. So I focused on fixing it instead of focusing on money. I am improving day by day. And I am seeing the results. Now, I hardly check my stats page.

Neither do I worry about it.

Focus on the matter that should be added to writing consistently on Medium. If you add it, the results will be automatic like 2+2=4.

So, if you want to earn more money, focus on the PROCESS of making it; Practice and leverage it without worrying about the results. Soon, it will embrace you.

Running behind it will affect you psychologically and put you down.
