.Way to repay a new subscriber!Not.I’ve written Feedback about this annoyance many times. And yes, my apps are all up to date. The last time I bothered to complain to Feedback was 9 months ago. They told me they are aware of the problem and blah blah blah. But nothing’s changed, — it’s worse it’s getting.So my only recourse is to never use my phone for Medium, unless it’s just to check my stats. I want my reads to count!I have to plug in and turn on my laptop, sit upright and be in the office, so to speak, to be a reader on Medium. Why does Medium give mobile phone users such a hard time?

Wake up in the morning, reach for the phone, snuggle under the covers again and sign in to Medium. First things first, I check my Partner Program earnings.

And who can resist that lit-up green bell? 24 notifications!

Phew, my notifications aren’t all about copy-cat highlighters, — on which don’t get me started. Yay, I’ve got two responses! Of course I want to read them.

The first one is a fabulous comment from a new follower, who gave me 50 claps, highlighted and even subscribed.
