Summary

The website advocates for a one-week dietary experiment eliminating sugars, bread, and other carbohydrates in favor of proteins and fats to improve energy levels and overall well-being.

Abstract

The author of the website content shares a personal experience with a diet that excludes sugary foods, fruits, bread, and other carbohydrates, claiming significant improvements in energy levels and productivity. After adopting this diet, the author reports feeling youthful energy, being able to wake up early without an alarm, and maintaining high energy levels throughout the day without the need for coffee or food in the evening. The diet emphasizes the consumption of proteins and fats, suggesting that these macronutrients should replace the typical 70% carbohydrate intake in one's diet. The author provides a list of recommended foods high in proteins and fats, such as meat, fish, cheese, and nuts, and encourages the consumption of greens and vegetables. The article also criticizes the historical shift towards grain consumption and suggests that modern dietary guidelines favoring high carbohydrate intake may be influenced by corporate interests rather than scientific evidence. The author invites readers to try this dietary change for at least one week to experience the potential benefits for themselves.

Opinions

  • The author believes that eliminating carbs can lead to increased energy and improved mood due to the biology of our bodies and the impact on hormone levels.
  • There is an opinion that fruits, despite being natural, should be limited due to their high sugar content, which can lead to decreased energy levels.
  • The author expresses that grains are harmful to health, citing issues with vitamin and mineral absorption, potential mold and chemical contamination, and a high glycemic index post-cooking.
  • The historical shift to grain-based diets is seen as a consequence of convenience and availability rather than health benefits.
  • The author suggests that the prevalence of sugar in modern diets is partly due to misleading scientific studies funded by corporations with vested interests in promoting sugar consumption.
  • Eating more fats and proteins is advocated for as a means to feel satiated with fewer calories and to support brain function and serotonin levels.
  • The author emphasizes that the quality of food consumed has a profound impact on one's mental and physical state, echoing the sentiment that "You Are What You Eat."

Stop Eating Sugar, Bread and Other Carbs for Only 1 Week and Check Your Results

Let’s experiment and check how your energy has changed with a new simple diet that eliminates carbs and involves more fats and proteins

I have a unique experiment for you. Recently, I tried it and found it incredible.

Before telling you the details, I will tell you the results I have received. I’m 25 years old and have worked in IT for years. I write online on Medium and some other platforms.

Last year, I was often productive only in the next time range, 9 AM — 5 PM.

Usually, I felt low energy in the morning until I finally “woke up,” also, in the evening, especially after 4 PM, I felt a decrease in energy 2–3 times.

After starting this experiment, I felt like I was 18. I woke up in the morning feeling great. I could wake up at 7 AM or 8 AM, sleeping only 6–7 hours, and it was okay.

Also, I could work and stay energetic until 11 PM or later. I didn’t want to sleep. I only drank coffee or ate after 6 PM.

So, how do you start feeling this way? I found one way and want you to try it for at least one week.

It’s not just magic; it’s the biology of our bodies, and if you apply this diet, you will increase the hormones that will allow you to feel better; if you want to dive deep into explanations, read the article below.

What You Should Stop Eating

I have done different experiments. I started by eliminating only sugars but went far and stopped eating almost all the carbs I had at home.

Below are products I have almost stopped eating:

  • Sweets
  • Fruits
  • Bread
  • Carbs (Potato, Pasta, Rice, etc)

You may ask me why I have stopped eating fruits; actually, it is because of the sugars. Most fruits contain many sugars, and your serotonin and dopamine levels are decreasing.

I still eat different berries, especially those that are sour. However, from my experiment, I felt low energy when I ate sweet grapes, so I decided to eat less of such food or even eliminate it.

Bananas, apples, and other sweet fruits (especially those that contain 10 grams of sugar per 100 grams of the product) are not in my diet anymore.

Sometimes, I eat some pieces of oranges, try to eat more lemons, and eat more berries.

As I read different research, bread is unsuitable for our stomachs and intestines. This type of product brings you more problems than advantages.

My main decision is to eat what makes me feel good, with energy, and in a good mood. I decided to make food as fuel for my body, but not a thing that is tasty or sweet. But I didn’t say that my new diet isn’t delicious!

Grains can hinder vitamin and mineral absorption and negatively impact health.

You should also know that this product is stored and transported in multi-ton containers and wagons. Mold and other fungus often grow there and are also treated with chemicals so that this product does not spoil!

Also, the cooking method destroys those beneficial substances, of which there are few, ultimately making grain products with a very high glycemic index, which is the same as eating sugar.

Why do we eat so much carbs?

Throughout history, people have been hunting and looking for wild vegetables, fruits, and berries. It was healthy food!

Then, people started living in villages, and the most straightforward product they could grow was grains! Our ancestors grew not because they were healthy, but because it was much more accessible and people felt full after eating them.

The exact reason for growing potatoes: this product is far from healthy, even if you cook it healthily. Some people love to fry potatoes. It’s even worse!

So, stop eating these products, check your feelings and energy level, and decide if you want to continue. Stop eating these products:

  • Sugar (Sweet water, cakes, chocolate, candies, fruits, etc)
  • Grains (Bread, pasta, etc)
  • Carbs (Rice, pasta, etc)

What You Should Start Eating More

Now you have a question about what you should start eating. Usually, carbs are 70% of our menu, so now we have to change the game’s rules.

First of all, you need to start eating more fats and proteins. They contain more calories, but you don’t need to eat so much, as you have to eat with carbs. Also, it would help if you remembered that eating more fats isn’t about eating more vegetable oil.

Scientists in past centuries received large grants to justify eating sugar so that people would eat less fat. It is not valid. Companies like Coca-Cola paid billions for these studies to get you to eat more sugar!

Here is the list of products with proteins and fats to start eating more:

  • Meat (chicken, beef, turkey, etc)
  • Fish (salmon, mackerel, etc.)
  • Cheese
  • Nuts

Protein-containing products are suitable for your brain and increase the level of serotonin, which makes you feel great and gives you a good mood and more energy.

Also, start eating more greens and vegetables. Eat more electrolytes, fiber, and colorful vegetables. These products contain a large amount of vitamins and are very healthy.

Just Try It for Only 7 Days

It won’t do anything wrong for you. Some people try not to eat for one or even more days. It sounds challenging, but some people get real benefits for their health from this practice.

I want to share this fantastic eating approach with you and make you feel what I felt and still feel. I would never eat some garbage food that takes up most of the place in markets. Sugar is a natural enemy; now I understand that carbs are also our enemies.

Many people need to pay more attention to what we eat. We usually hear and read about the importance of what we think, self-dialog, people we interact with, and many problems we see on the mental level.

But as some wise man once said:

You Are What You Eat!

If you drink alcohol, then you become one person; if you don’t drink at all, you become another kind of person — the same you can say about people who take drugs.

Here is the same thing. If you eat one type of food, you become one person; if you eat a different food, you become another.

Think about it!

What type of person do you want to become? Do you want to feel unique and reach high goals? Then start with what you eat!
