ATTENTION: High Quality Free Traffic Generation

Stop Chasing Traffic

And follow these 4 rules instead

Graphic from Presenter Media

You need high quality free traffic. I need high quality free traffic. All God’s online marketing children need traffic.

And getting endless streams of high quality free traffic is one of the reasons you’re reading this column, right?

I’ve been building streams of free traffic with content online and offline since 1994.

And I couldn’t stop the flood of quality free traffic to my profit pages if I wanted to, and I certainly don’t want to.

Neither will you when you follow these 4 rules for high quality free traffic.

4 Rules for High Quality Free Traffic

Rule 1) Stop Chasing Traffic

The worst way to chase after traffic is to throw money at it before you are ready.

Many beginning online marketers start out this way, throw money after paid traffic before they are ready, and therefore start out in a hole.

I’m not against paid traffic. I use it. I just don’t want you to start off in a hole like so many others.

Especially when you can get so much great traffic for free.

So wait until you have a system that regularly takes you from idea to money in the bank before you dive into paid traffic.

Rule 2 ) Discover where the traffic is already going

Part of my job online is to stay on top of where the great free traffic is already going.

Because this is constantly changing, I’ve got to constantly watch.

One great source that’s been delivering for some time is Medium.com

Deliver great content in your niche and invite your prospect to your profit pages to get more great content from you. Do this over and over again and you’ll build a nice consistent flow of free traffic.

It doesn’t hurt that Medium pays you to publish your content.

A recent addition to Medium is the publication “Illumination” created by Dr. Mehmet Yildiz

It’s the fastest growing publication on Medium with over 11K members and growing at the time of this column.

If you want an “instant audience” it’s a great place to go.

Rule 3) Get your content is front of where the traffic is already going

This is not rocket science or brain surgery.

It just makes sense.

After one fast food restaurant goes in at an intersection, what comes next?

More fast food restaurants.

Why?

Because the first fast food restaurant did all the research and created the marketing and service to get the traffic flowing in.

Every fast food restaurant (and other stores) that followed simply “got is front of where the traffic was already going.”

Doing the same allows you to win at the free traffic game.

Most people who teach free traffic stop after these 4 tips.

I don’t .

Here’s comes a great 4th tip:

Rule 4) Redirect the great free traffic exactly where you want it to go, your profit pages

So first of all, what’s a profit page?

Good question.

One example of a profit page of course is your sales pages. Sales create profits.

Since there are other kinds of profit, there are other kinds of profit pages too.

For example: Opt-in pages, sign up pages, etc.

So who’ve got your content in front of where the traffic is already going.

Good for you.

And you’re redirecting it to your profit pages.

Good on you again.

Now here comes a great BONUS Tip:

Consistent Content Creation: This process, this system, is not something you do just once. It’s not something you do every now and then.

It’s something you do consistently. Preferably every day.

Because…

Consistent content creation wins the day!

Here’s a few folks who are already using this system to their advantage:

Tim Maudlin, Michele Thill, Candy L Hill, Margaret Eves, Alena Powell, Dr Mehmet Yildiz, MaryJo Wagner, PhD, Peg Duchesne, Phil Truman, Chris Hallett, Nathan White, Sunita Pandit, Melody Campbell, Bill Todd, Vickie Trancho, Trapper Sherwood, Joan Kent, PhD and many more…

I’d like to help you with consistent content creation and getting in front of where the traffic is already going. Here’s 21 fresh content ideas to get you started:
